Unorthodox Racing Pulleys and Cam Gears!

I've heard that before...if you could offer me proof somehow, I'd appreciate it...

as for our motor, i have no proof, i was just going off of what i here. (like you) as for the zetec. i use to have a zx2 and was on the zx2.com forum for 2 or 3 years. there are plenty of zx2s running round with pullies for a couple years now and have had no problems. there is a two foci in my car club that have had pullies for about a year and have had no problems. so im just going of hearsay

Glow....I forgot to ask you yesterday i'm gonna buy the Pacesetter headers for my car but i need to know what year of the Probe headers will work on my car

I changed my mind I'm gonna go with the Bosal headers. Do you by chance know where I could order the Bosal or Pacesetter header

The Focus has a Ford motor, designed and built by Ford.

The Protege has a Mazda motor, designed and built by Mazda.

The motors might have similarities, but they are few and far between. The next gen Focus (if there is one), will be using the Mazda designed motor.

Where did you hear this?

I wouldn't get the bosal or pacesetter header for the probe/mx-6 engines. I have the Bosal and it is poor quality and takes alot of work to make it fit. I would wait until a good quality header comes out for the MP3.

I've heard it dang near everywhere.

The Focus motor is completely a Ford product. The Protege motor is completely a Mazda product.

The next gen Focus/Protege/Volvo small car are going to share the same basic platform design all using a Mazda four cylinder engine.

I threw in that hit on the Focus because of the reliability and safety issues recently brought up by NHTSA...I heard that the next gen Focus might not be a "Focus".
