unnitza Mazda3 Predator ThinLine Angle eyes

i wanna ask does anyone here knows about this product from umnitza? they sell it $150 or $50 w/ the intake. what i wanna know is are they selling it as a whole head light housing or just some special part that to install into the factory headlight? if that is a special part, how is it look like? Thanks! (boom07)

you have to install it over your head light to give the angle eye look, so you need to bake your headlights to pull them apart and then install the filiments for the angle eyes then re seal your head light enclosure

so...

how can i break the headlights? what tools i used will gain best result?

to seal it back on, what kind of glue that will be good for the headlight?

thanks again!

you have to bake the head light in the oven to soften the "glue" and then just peel it apart, then you repeat the process i believe when you are done, check the how to section i remember badger biker wrote a how to.

you can also use a heat gun, i heard its easier than baking it. Then you can use a silicone gun to seal it back together. I did some reserach not too long ago cause i really want to do this, i remember that i wasnt gonna go with the umnitza but i cant remember why. i think i was gonna go with xenon expert, i dont recall if it was price or qualitiy, or both but i remember that i didint want to go with umnitza. Oh well, good luck with that.

oh and the reason i didnt do the angel eyes is because i wanted to have it as running daylights and for that you woulod have to mess up withe wiring and voiding your warranty. Total pain in the ass. so im gonna wait until warranty is void and then i'll do it. or maybe i'll just grow some balls and do it this winter.

what is the difference between the thinline and the chromium? also, why cant you add the chromium angel eyes to a cf intake order for $50?

btw, baking your headlights is not a pain in the ass, or remotely difficult for that matter. i have baked 4 sets of headlights (3 p5, 1 rsx) and never had a problem. baking your headlights will not void your warranty unless you melt it, which at 200 degrees would take a complete moron to do that.

dude you need to chill out. You dont have to be a moron to melt a headlight housing. s*** happens sometimes, you forget or leave it a little longer than you should.
I dont know everyone else but when i said it was a pain in the ass i was referring to the procedure to make the angel eyes work as running daylights, also changing the fogs to be turned on independently from the headlights.

i am calm, i was just saying it isnt difficult. as far as the wiring goes, i have no clue because ive never attempted that. luckily for me, badger biker lives in my area and wrote the how-to so he should be able to answer any questions i may have. (thumb)

i agree its not difficult to bake them but i think its much easier to use a heat gun, you can then pry as you go and focus the heat on the tough parts.
The wiring is a royal pain in the ass and chances are you will screw up the wiring rendering your warranty void. I think Goldwing had an issue and had to fix it out of pocket. Lucky you have someone who has done it before but even for people that work with electrical systems it is a high risk mod unless you dont care for your warranty.

Better see some pics when you get it done, and make a little how to on the wiring for us who are intimidated by the chance of messing up w\ that part! The baking part is simple enough.

it will be a while before i install them considering its the beginning of winter and its already 0 degrees outside.

I think this king_jcj is really a vendor (umnitza) setting up threads to promote his business and posting in the same thread as the actual vendor...call it a hunch? Mods beware...umnitza is NOT AN Authorized Vendor!

iim sure you can check the logs and verify their ip address.
ooohhhh i could be ownage....
