I also spoke with cobb. The tuning software the the MS3 is supposed to be done in February. You will only be able to be tuned at a authorized cobb dealer, the software will not be open source.

I spoke with cob as well at SEMA got the same info, also that they were finishing the RX8 platform first. They didnt have much at there booth the Cobb Ms3 was out in front though.
Why the hell did they choose to release the RX8 platform over the MS3/6 platform first?
I didn't ask anything about that.
But the MS6 application will be mapped and controlled by EGT. Right now it requires a barometer to be drilled into the exhaust manifold.
Yeah, did they say anything about the throttle plate? I don't think I will be buying anything that can't control the throttle plate closing.

Th answer i got was that they were waiting the longest.
There is virually no performance increase left in their NA motors to warrant a freaking AP setup!
You always come out ahead with boost. I guess they want to be late to the game. Its CP-E's market now.
The RX-8 desperately needs that extra 12 HPThe actual reason the RX8 is coming out first is because it has been being worked on longer therefore it is closer to being completed.
