Unichip is coming for the MS3!

I spoke with two of the representatives from Unichip while I was at Sema 2007. They told me the unichip for the ms3 three will be released in less than 45 days. It will be sold by Street Unit exclusively for the first 6 months. Street unit paid for the development of the product, thats how they got the rights.

P.S. The MS6 application is well under development.

Yes it's true. They tried to get in touch will street unit while I was on standing there with them to no avail. They wanted me to talk to him before discussing this information with others. I left them with my contact info, but they never called. So I posted. I spoke with them on Thursday.

I didn't ask anything about that.

But the MS6 application will be mapped and controlled by EGT. Right now it requires a barometer to be drilled into the exhaust manifold.

I also spoke with cobb. The tuning software the the MS3 is supposed to be done in February. You will only be able to be tuned at a authorized cobb dealer, the software will not be open source.

Cobb told me that their MS3 had 293 wheel HP. Using thier turboback exhaust, CAI, and prototype intercooler.

If the only change the Cobb AP allowed was full power in lower gears, they get my 699.00. I'm guessing well also get about 35hp and about 50 lb/ft Torque, with just a Stage 0(No Hardware), this is just a guess guys, who knows if it will even come out for sure. I really am glad to hear the Cobb SRI was one of its best selling products this month as that shows them we are very interested.

BEGi claims that much horsepower (288) with just their Xede base map...

Yeah, did they say anything about the throttle plate? I don't think I will be buying anything that can't control the throttle plate closing.

omg "Cullin" is on my phone from street unit

"Unichip Q" style tunable in windows as opposed to dos. ( By unichip dealer/tuners as usual)

ms6 is coming out first. 4 weeks 2 kits coming one with EGT setup up (best) and one more mild without.

ms3 is coming out 8 weeks and it will control throttle plate.
