I Guy's,

I've made few search and didn't find what I was looking for. I Also saw this little video so I think my post might be useful for some users ;) Posting and you...

My MSP is almost at the point to change the engine settings, This summer my FMIC, 626 manifold, 2.5" turbo back will be instaled because now, I'm still stuck in snow with my catless mid-pipe and my CAI ;)

I've been looking for a way ton change my fuel settings witch is crucial when increasing boost. I finnaly made my mind on the 3 basic Piggy-Back. The Unichip, Greddy E-manage Blue and the Split Second V2.

I have a JoeP FCD and MBC witch works very well and I don't want to uninstaled them when putting my Piggy-Back on my car. There's not so many shops in my area that are very familiar with MSP, they mostly works with the E-manage (That's the reason Why it's in my 3 choices). I really like the simplicity of the Split Second and the V2 allows for even more future settings and accurate tuning. Finally, the UniChip with the possibility to switch betwen maps with a little switch and that he can control the timing for a more aggressive ride.

I'm not a proffessional racer, I go to the track only a couple of time during the summer. The main Idea behind Upgrading with a Piggy-Back is to have a very enjoyable, smooth and well tuned ride. That's the reason why I'm not going with an expensive Stand Alone. Also, I live in Quebec, Canada and the wheater is not very predictable with temps around -30 C during Winter and +30 C during Summer. So i want to be able to tune it as the seasons passes by ;)

So If you can help me In my choice I'll really appreciate it because I'm very confused Right now ;)

Thanks a lot,

J-F

I really think for simplicity, you should go with the AFC. People are making good power with these.

The thing is...AFC's don't allow you to pull timing I believe....I'm curious now, how people run the supermap without knocking/pinging issues???

Greddy blue would be more of a standalone alike , it the only one from the three you've choosen who lets you play w/ timing and alot of other stuff as long as you know what you are doing though.
Since you're in a quick temp change area than switching maps w/ no or little hassle i'll bet is pnp unichip where as E-manage you'll have to have you're laptop present to do so ( it could be a headache sometimes)
the afc is a one time tune and than retune when you change anything in the car but thats it, it won't give you much options as E-manage.

I hope i cleared somehow the sky for you :) , now you can see the sun better lol
