unichip and gt28rs

Power was dropping between runs and you couldn't figure out why? (confused) It's called heat soak... the intercooler stops cooling when it's hot.

*It's very hard to read your posts... this doesn't make it any easier when trying to help with your issues.

Never the less, I can see this becoming the next MSP w/ a blown motor very easily here. I'd suggest at least finding a tuner who knows something as basic as heat soak however.

famous last words from alot of people here

what were your a/f readings? it sounds to me like your car is running pig rich and thats why its doing this, the same thing happened to me before

also check your exhaust manifold for a leak thats quite common

well i cant really remmber but the tuner was telling that it was to lean and said that whoever u bought it off leaned it way to much. then he said that the boost isnt holding at 10 psi like it should be and that it hits 10 the drops to about 5psi. i said ok lets check the plug cause i didnt think he really new what he was talking about. plugs looked like more then enough fuel was going in. but for some reason the were really loose his like oh these deso plugs are no good. u need ngk cooper plugs. im like ok but thats not the problem do he put ngk plugs and the car was bucking like a bull. more so like fuel cut but i think what was happening was that the wastegate was not work right and it was spike way ti high and cuting.

Dude....

There is a 99.99% chance the Unichip you got has never been touched other than by Unichip. They are not user-programmable therefore not anyone can go around making changes to them.

However, as we've been telling from the beginning those maps are not setup for a bigger turbo. That is what your "tuner" is suppose to do. He should know this already or you should have told him.

I don't know why you keep talking about plugs though. Your EMS is not setup for that turbocharger. Nor is that enigne capable of a bigger turbo in the first place (as we also said). I'd have to say the plugs are the least of your worries with this setup.

I have a reworked MPI nick turbo where he took my stock trubo and put the gt28r guts in it and I run that with my unichip and I dont have any problems except the damn cam shaft angle position sensor malfunction code I keep getting almost the seconde i go over 6k rpms.

who did you take the car to? I used to live in Toronto

if your car is leaning out and losing boost like that I refer to my last post, you have a very good chance of blowing your motor, your probably lucky the boost is not holding up
