looks nice and effective, not sure how much the heat soak from the engine affects the paints life on the hood though, i doubt there is much difference there....try it out and let us know =)
I pretty sure the noise will just be redirected downward and you'll here more noise from the bottom of the car. The OEM hoodliner does a decent job of soaking some noise.
It has absorption qualities, so I don't necessarily agree with the redirection theory, but that wouldn't be a bad thing if it did. The farther away the noise is from your ears, the better.
I'm thinking about trying it out, but I hoped somewhat had real world experience.
