I was reading that the type b rx7 was a 2+2 and I'm pretty sure they didn't sell any of these state side. I was wondering if you were to buy a us spec rx7 would there be any way to swap out the type b rear seats? Is it the same chassis or is it longer? Any info on this would be appreciated. I've always wanted one an am thinking about selling my integra but I've got a kid and want to be able to take the wife and baby with if we go out with it.

what year RX7? i know the second gens had a back seat option and you can usually pick these up occasionally. They bolt in to all the 2nd gens but dont leave a whole lot of room back there

They had the type b in the 4th gens that were 2+2. I don't know if they had a 2+2 in the 3rd gens but I would consider it if they did.

From my understanding the fd has the same ability as the fc in that you can replace the rear storage bins with a rear seat setup. The problem lies with actually getting a back seat since they were never sold here. Search yahoo and see if an aftermarket company might offer a solution
