Two step colder spark plugs

What are the advantages (if any) of upgrading to these spark plugs? I've heard that they help with fuel consumption although I am skeptical.

i have only heard of using colder plugs with nitrous or turbo. It helps prevent detonation

Absolutely nothing unless you are going turbo..or nitrous..and yes it will consume..lots of extra fuel...I know from experience!!

So running cooler plugs uses more fuel, but it does nothing in a stock motor? Wouldn't the extra fuel give some type of gain somewhere? Just wondering myself. I'd heard about it, but don't really understand what these do.
Any descriptions or explanations would be great.

Extra fuel in the combustion chamber that is not need is inefficient, causes HP loss. I hate bogging!

yep, dont use two steps unless you are running a BIG shot of nitrous or have a turbo and need to avoid detonation.
