TWM STS w/Desert Eagle shift knob...

Just installed it and love it.
For those of you that have the sts w/knob what did you do to secure the top of the boot to the knob?

I put like 6 washers under the top of the boot.

raised it up almost to the bottom of the knob.

Post pics please! I started a thread a while ago, asking someone to post pictures of the MS3 shift knob next to the DE shift knob to compare it's size. Can you do that for us?

Also..did you adjust the shift boot higher because you are using the shift knob at a higher height using that NTIS adjustment?

After I installed the STS w/ knob my shift knob is lower than stock.

Yep figured that, just confirming. Well take pictures of the final results of the install as well as side by side shift knob size comparison please? I am interested in something bigger.

what do you mean securing boot to bottom of s*** knob? mine is flush and did not have to do any types of modifications?

He's got the shift knob sitting higher than having the shift knob tightened all the way down. So there's a gap between the shift boot sitting flat on the base versus the shift knob. Using a few spacers will push the shift boot higher up and closer to the shift knob. Very smart idea!
