TWM short shifter question?

I just ordered the twm short shifter for my mazda speed3, i ordered the bushings to go with it, but not the boot. is the boot nessessary, will the original boot work just fine, or will it look stupid, thanks alot

lol stock boot will be fine . Upgraded boot is just to look perty.

pm sport6 for a custom boot.

the stock boot is going to be baggy. It wrinkles up and goes down into the shifter assembly area. It looks tacky IMO. Put it in and see if you like it or not. It might not bother you..

i have the stock boot and shift knob and its fine. Im just going to wait for someone to post a used one for sale.
