TWM short shift or Forge BPV

Ok guys,
I usually get myself a Christmas gift because its just me so I was wondering what peoples thoughts were, as the title states, Should I get the TWM SS or the Forge BPV? I know these things are different kinds of mods but I am eventually going to get both(in time) what did most people do when they got these, short shift first or BPV? I currently have CPE-SRI and the corksport MMI. Thanks.

if u wanna go cheap. get the forge. but if u want the best bang for ur buck, i would agree about getting forge and twm bushings.

The short shifter is a nice touch but the shifter bushings are one of the things I recommend the most, with or without the shifter. The forge bpv is the cheapest out right now and does a good job, my car holds more boost longer than the stock unit which is a POS. I agree shifter bushings and forge. SU bushings are $5 cheaper than TWM as well and theres no difference.

get the short shifter now and wait for the Cobb BPV which I have seen in person and is GANGSTA STATUS. Should be out middle of Jan. or start of Feb. hopefully. good luck with ur choice.

LOL, what exactly does that mean, I know bad ass but does it look sweet or do you know that it works awesome?

I vote Forge valve & shifter bushings. Snag the short shifter later if you want. I'm still debating if I want my shifter THAT low.

gangsta status in that is dosint look like a tumor bludging from the manifold like the HKS. Its really small and is tested up to 35 psi!

Quick question guys, I have read a few forums about people messing up their engines and smoking turbos...I am a tad bit paranoid but I want to enjoy my car(making minor mods). I think I am going to get the Forge, if I am running this with CPe-SRI and thats it, I don't have anything to worry about, right? I would say I am completely fine seeing as to what everyone else is doing and their cars are fine.

As long as you stick to something conservative with the forge (like blue spring no shims) you should be fine.

The forge and intake would take half an hour tops to revert back to stock if you needed to take the car in for a smoking turbo. I wouldn't sweat it.

Sounds like you have made up your mind but the Forge and Bushings is the way to go. Dont get me wrong, I love my SS but the bushings really made shifting easier/nicer and the BPV is noticeable. Do you have a motor mount yet? That would be first with the bushings if it were up to me...

Yeah I got the Forge BPV and Bushings this morning, I am currently running the corksport MMI and I think I will be changing that out for the dogbone when I get the funds. I have read about people not being able to use the stock clips for the hose lines on the Forge, anyone have some suggestions on what clips to get to fix this?
