Okay.... so I just installed a boost controller and turned the boost up on my msp. I am setting at 12-13 lbs now. the problem that I am having is I feel no different between the 8 I was at and the 12-13 now . I get decent pull then it drops off like im still running the lower boost. anyone else seen anything like this and if so what was it lol

I am running with the splitsecond now. my a/f was great. spiking at 13lbs hit a 10 on my wide band.

I'm just running the superstock tune. Iv been kinda hesitant to jump into writing my own tune. I was thinking it was either from slipping clutch witch I have a new one or from still running stock down pipe. Could the down pipe make it act like this.

I wouldn't be pushing 12-13lbs on a stock block. I can tell a HUGE difference between 8 and 12 psi so there is likely something else wrong.

That's why I'm asking to be honest. I'm looking for a direction to look. Do u have the downpipe on yours running 10 psi?

Stock S pipe, 2.5" catless J-Mid pipe. How old are your plugs? What are your settings on the AFC? The over pressure must be close to 0psi and the engine settings must be 4 cylinder 4 stroke.

Plugs are brand new went down a step colder before introducing more boost. I am running the superstock tune off the site.

You'll need to change the tune. I ran SS map with a 11psi wastegate, full exhaust, IM and all of that Jazz and it would still burry itself into 10. probably lower, but my gauge stops at 10.

Okay so... I feel it's the tune now. I took it out and ran some and at half throttle it pulls much better. When I go to full throttle it seems to bog and miss/or stutter.

Yeah, go ahead and run that high of boost on a stock internals...

Anyone care to chime in with what will happen??

It'll be Preferio'd!

Yes gapped the plugs to .28. I am pulling the 440's out tonight. I am trying to find a pic of the oem placement as we have two different colors.

there's your problem, the 440's are too big and at full throtle you're dumping in more fuel than the engine can handle. That's why half throtle felt better.

Though it's already been stated, the 440s are definitely the issue.

OEM injector placement doesn't really matter but the green injectors are on the passenger side and the purple on the driver's.

Got the oem in and feels much much better. Running the fmic tune from the site. It's super rich.... I think I'm just gonna have to play with numbers on the map myself. If she goes boom she goes boom. Back up car and 300 at pick and pull isn't bad lol. Gives a reason to park it and build correct.
