Turn off bluetooth steaming connection on startup

For my iPhone 5, I have it connected with bluetooth to the car which does both handsfree and streaming (A2DP). I never use bluetooth streaming and instead opt for the USB, however this means that my phones audio is muted whenever i'm in the car and listing to Sirius. Is there anyway to set the car not to connect bluetooth streaming so my phone will make noise when I get a message? I know you can turn this off in the bluetooth setting each time, but I don't it to never connect streaming by default.
