did some research
on the way home from work today i studied my intake air temp (dashhawk) and i saw an average of 4-5 degrees above ambient air temp. (with mazdaspeed cai). it was around 50 degrees and my intake air temp was 55. after dinner i converted my cai to a short ram. studied the intake air temp and found when driving it was still 5 degrees above ambient air. yes the iat heats up quicker when at a stand still but as soon as you start moving the temp goes down to the same temp as a cai. just my 2 cents.
