I just recently changed my clutch so the mechanic took all my pipes apart now that shes all put back together the bov flutters at low and high boost ive only had it for a year and never checked the bov until now and the previous owner had 8 washers in it but it never surged at high boost and never lagged so much. Is there a washer and preload combo anyone has had luck with?

9 psi since i got the car i never changed anything not even preload because it was venting properly. Until recently that i changed the clutch and my pipes were taken apart, the vacuum routing was messed up and i didnt really ever memorized the form. One of the past owners had mentioned an MBC but i had never seen it, so when we were trying to put the vacuum hoses in i didnt have anywhere to plug in the waste gate actuator hose. Now im wondering if thats the problem.

If you have no vacuum line for your WGA you will be running at max boost with no way to turn it off. the MBC should run in between the vacuum line used for the WGA.

Yeah im running the hose to the intake mani for now teed off to my boost gauge also i ordered a new MBC today cuz idk if the mechanic lost it or not i just hope thats y its lagging and not blowing off properly

Yeah probably i guess thats y im seein lag cuz im used to 9 but its probably just hitting six thanks man

I would but the guy that did my clutch is over 60 and doesnt really know too much about turbos he just did my clutch he did it basically as a favor charged me next to nothing on labor
