First Impressions: Wow! This valve is amazing in every way. There are absolutely no drivability issues at all and no misfiring/backfiring. I can definately tell the difference in how it holds its boost. It seems like there is no more turbo lag and it starts to build immediately. When I felt the plastic bpv in my hand and then felt the turboxs I couldn't believe how crappy of a valve they put on our cars. Plus the best part is the sound of the pssst! I'm running my stock airbox because I didn't like the hiss of an intake and it sounds amazing. If anyone is looking for a great valve to run I would highly recommend this one! Plus it's pretty cheap, only $180.

I got it from jscspeed.com. Just PM aaron@jsc and you will get the deal. When I get a chance I will post a video/sound clip.

I've had mine on for a while and absolutely second everything speed858 said. I, on the other hand, run the cobb sri with it because I love turbo noises ;)

ya i put mine in also about a week ago... so much better than my hks except the sound of the hks (vta) was definetly better/louder... also bought mine from jscspeed

You're probably the one you got the last one before it went on back order! Jsc said some guy put his order like 4 mins before my paypal went through. This was May 19th.

Yeah, I wish I could go VTA, but I know I would be one of the people to have issues with it!! Just stick with what works! ;)

i didnt at all... i keep playing with the washers to see whats better... so that would be pointless... but since im gunna be sticking with 3 cuz for some reason that works better than the 'normal' 4 for me, ill be resetting the ecu

Hey there guys, I am gonna be installing the Turboxs hybrid valve when it comes in this week and was wondering how you reset the ECU? I am sorta new to this forum so I would appreciate the info. Thanks in advance

^^ Unplug the negative battery terminal, let it sit for 10 minutes, some say 15, 30 whatever. Hook it back up. Done! Enjoy!

its also a good idea to pump the brakes before you re-connect the battery...helps to make sure any stored power is out of the system.

Oh, I didn't reset my ecu when I put mine in. I guess I should now. I never understood why resetting it's best for the car. Anyone know?

you wont notice that stuff for atleast few days to a week. my car was barely noticeable and would only get pops after WOT.

look at how much blacker your tail pipe gets.

hey-- glad you like the valve-- id love to see some pics!

I've posted it before, but here's a pic of my valve when I installed it. Come to think of, I've never taken any underhood pictures since I installed my Cobb SRI.... might wanna hop on that!

And yeah, the vac line seemed really thin to me, so I upgraded. Never trimmed it though......

Just remove the old one, attach the hoses, and remove the little upsidedown L shapped bracket on the front of the factory airbox. While you're at it, remove the snorkel too ;) instead of psst, now gets whooo-psst!
