turbosmart problem dual port!!!

ok i installed a turbosmart and it sounds like a duck like its the dualport and i dont whats wrong i havent drove it yet i had bad luck cuz i stripped one of the bolts while doing it inside the manifold when connecting cuz hose wouldnt connect?please help this was pain to put just to let you know what i took of stock connected vacum tube with autozone tube not the one that comes with it cuz i lost it but that shouldnt have an effect and when i tried adjust the spring flew off the valve i guess wat to loose?

I have 1 in my MS3, and 1 in my Bro's MS6, the MS6 one did kinda the same thing sounded like it was trying to BOV, i loosened it a bit still did it. Did its job, just no VTA nice sound, Once we put a CAI on well its sounds great. BUT on the MS3 fo rsome reason it works fine. I had to tighten it up.

i just drove it sound good but im gettin a whinning noise while going up the gears sounds like a superchagerger is it to tight to loose i tried adjusting but still sounded the same.

If it sounds like a duck when opening and whines while driving you did not properly tight it down to the flange. Grab it at the top and move it, you will see there is still a gap. Loosen bolts, make sure gasket is correctly alligned and not crimped and tightend down the bolts properly.

This happend to us once, but fortunately we had installed a few of them before so we knew that something was wrong when we heard the funny sound.
