TurboSmart Dual Stage MBC

Anyone used this MBC? I'm thinking about getting it along with an BCD. I would like a dual stage so I can run normal boost during commutes and switch on the fly to a more agressive boost if needed.

If anyone uses one, can you possibly post some picks or PM me some pics. Specifically I would like to see where you mounted it in the engine bay as well as where you mounted the in car switch.

Thanks much.

i almost bought this same MBC. i decided against it because of the price. also if i up the boost to 18psi like i plan.... its only 3 psi over stock. i just bought the regular turbosmart MBC and a map clamp. a map clamp will stop the fuel cut electronicly (like and xede or standback) and not bleed off your hard earned boost like the atp thing does. map clamps are the big thing with the srt-4 crowd. as far as i know, i will be the first to try one on the ms3.

I have this MBC and it works great, BUT i have it installed on a different car not the MS3. word of warning. When its cold out the turbos with a MBC tend to boost more, I ended up popping a HG on my SVO because the over boost was somewhere around 34 psi when i had the MBC set at 26 psi. its not the controllers fault, its how well the turbo makes boost in colder air and more air is needed to bleed open the wastegate and bleed off the boost. this is where an ELECTRONIC BC rulez!!!

Once i replaced the HG and re adjusted the MBC it works as advertised. Maybe it was a fluke and my controller was somehow messed with, but it sure didn;t stop the turbo from running 34+ psi of boost for a few seconds. Man was the SVO fun to drive.
