could I get some testimonials on just how awsome this thing is so I can get talked up enough to actually want to spend $329 dollars on a BPV!

I just got my car on saturday and have been browsing around looking at different mods, nothing serious (yet(evil)) but I came across a video of this BPV and... well I loved the concept but the price is something different I want the communities feedback

Not sure about the turbo smart. But I have the Forge ver1, an love it paid 100 shipped. :) The have them FS on here in the for sale thread.. A lot less than $329.

I have the dual port bov and I like it, never thought I would spend almost $300 for a bov. A little pricey for it but pretty cool you can get it in a variety of colors if you want some under the hood bling. It holds boost great and sounds awesome. Reason I got this and not a forge or turbosmart full bpv was because I like the fact you can adjust it to your liking with a few turns instead of springs and shims. I came from a greddy type s and it was like night and day on how much better the dual port was. Some pics of mine.

$300+ For a bpv that will net u almost no extra hp is not worth it.
I would recommend going with a CAI/SRI 1st.
This will net you some realistic gains and give you the whooosh sound that's muffled by stock intake piping.

I would suggest staying away from Forge unless u want to hear a metal ping sound every time ur hard on the throttle.

I originally ran a dsm bov modified to fit. Cost me ~$40.
After a while got tired of it...sold it and now I'm rocking a cobb bpv.

acidbbg- you say spending $300 for a bpv is not worth the money but you bought a cobb bpv that is $295.00?

I agree with acid though, buy an intake first if you haven't already.

no worries gents, I plan on getting all the appropriate bolt-ons around the same time Im going with a turboXS downpipe and the PG intake and inlet I just wasnt sure what dirrection of BPV I wanted to go in and I really liked the dual port and the ability to convert to either full vent to atmosphere or full resirculation is very appealing Im just not sure if its $329 appealing, now if I could get one at a good deal I would love that its just hard for me to invest that much in something like acidbbg said that nets no additional power

and no the forge "ping" is too much for me to handle I wont be going that route, honestly I got a knock-off Greddy type RS for my subaru for $40 and have never had an issue out of it it wouldnt bother me to go cheap again I was just captivated by the dual port design

I waited until someone posted up their used part.

I got it for a tad under $200

I've had mine for 1.5 years now and have not regreted one day since I've owned it. way easy to service and adjust, plus sounds great.! I owned a HKS, Forge and TurboXS and this is the best one I liked in terms of sound, adjustability and 50/50 hybrid ability.
