Anyone turbo their protege without forged internals? I have just about everything I need to turbo it, And will be running it at no higher than 7psi.

Yes, it has been done by many. A good tune and low boost and you should be fine.

Agreed with Ryan.....Don't forget the Doc B oil pump!! What I would do while keeping it at 7psi is look out for a good deal on rods and pistons cause the protg internals ( even at low boost) can be unreliable. But yea it can absolutely be done.

The speeds used the exact same motor and internals. No issues unless you run the s*** out of it constantly and don't take care of it
