Turbo X/S (50/50 Hybrid BOV) installed..

Well after seeing reviews on alot of the bov's out there, I went with the
Turbo X/S http://www.turboxs.com/item.php?ID=243 bov. Not only does it recirculate but it also dumps 50% vta. So you get the sound and a car that dosent idle funny or run richer ( car runs rich as hell already).

Only tools I needed were 10mm socket w/ratchet and right angled needle nose pliers. Took less than ten minutes to install.

I cant believe what a diffrence it makes my switching the crappy plastic stock bov, I swear the car feels like it pulls harder around 5500rpm's and higher.

I recomend this bov 100%, and the customer service at Turbo X/S is good as well. They just need to hurry up with the 3inch turbo back..(thats my next mod)(hump)

I can post pics and can try to get a sound clip when it is under load if need be, just let me know...

I will on my next day off, should be around mid week...

Sound wise, first and second more of a light whoooosh sound and under heavier load 3rd thru 6th more of whooosh plus whistle. This is with stock airbox also, when I install my cold air it should be louder. But I bought this BOV for function rather than sound...

I have this too... I love it, not too loud and lets me enjoy the phhhsshhh sound!!!

Its a good item and price.

With my turbo kit, there was like a nipple that you attached a really short piece of rubber pipe to, then the BOV went onto the the rubber pipe and was held in place by hose clamps.

I don't know really, i never ran an HKS unit, so i can't say for sure.
