Hey everyone I sent emails out to Turbonetics and Corksport about upcomming turbo kits and parts for the FS-DE and ZE engines.

Turbonetics:
 You guys produce a manifold for our engines right

pn # 30515. Price is $575.66.

Corksport:
 You guys are producing a Turbo system for the FS-DE and FS-ZE engines. I assume you guys are doing RND on it as of now. Here are a couple questions we would like answers to:
What will it come with?
What will it's price be approximately?
When will it be ready?
What kind of gains can we expect?

We really don't have any info at this point. there will be multiple kits made. Intercooler and boost controller being options with them. We have not even started the project yet. So that is why we don't have that much info at this point.

As you can see this is not that helpful but at least it gives us an idea of what's going on in terms of real HP gains. I guess now it's just a waiting game, and oh man Turbonetics might as well steel your credit card with a mani that expensive. I also got my bosal exhaust put in here is the site with the wave file.

Hmmm...

This is becoming a little annoying...Everyone says they have a kit coming, but no one has really started.

What's up with Bell Engineering? Have they started yet??

Tripoint supposedly has something in pipeline as well. Where are they?

I don't know, it seems like everytime I turn around another comapny appears and says, "We are making a turbo. Look for it soon."

It looks like you either have to wait, or go custom...

I hear ya. I think I'm going the custom route. I found a book on amazon by Bell himself about turbo and supercharger design that goes quite in depth on the mathematical, physical, and design aspects of fabricating a turbo. I think if we all had time to become adept at forced induction we could all make one ourselves. I don't have shat to do this summer except sit on my ass or work so I'd like to give something like this a try. I also found a great site for the do-it-yourselfer. I think I posted this already but just in case anyone missed it I'll post it again. They have a lot of stuff like Flanges Piping IC's basically anything you need.

I hope this helps

Knights turbo has a kit, and it is moderatly priced. Now i know im going to hear a ton of ppl say "their work isnt reliable" but NO ONE has used there stuff on these boards. Ive been reading the pro boards for months now and when the turbo kit was made one guy said it doesnt "look" great, and i swear all the bad talk has spawned from that. Now correct me if im wrong, but i want to know Y everyone is saying such things? So the Kinights kit is an option, and the easiest way to go. GL all, and let me have it if you have some good info. Thanks guys

His 'kits' aren't kits per say therer are still things you have to get for them i've heard to make them work. I've also heard he uses used turbos. There is a reason no one has put on of his kits on yet. Go check out hte probetalk.com board and you will find more info on TKT

The price on that manifold from turbonetics isn't that bad. It is probably a log style. Spoolin was gonna charge $700-$800 for his tubular manifold I think, which is a good price also.

The turbonetics mani is a cast manifold look under the tech section on spoolins install he has a pic of it there.

I am working very hard on mass producing turbo kits at a very reasonable price. Currently workin on the website and fabrication issues but I will keep everyone posted!
I have already incorporated the company and everything should be available soon to you guys. As for CHdesign will most likely come out with his own kit too......thats 2 kits on the market very very soon!
:D

I am working with the same company that produces the Dawes Devices Boost Controller. They are very avid in producing this kit. I am going to send them the Prototype header from my kit once I build my new one so they can make their own and do a sand cast of it so they can mass produce it. They already have my parts list and my instructions for assembly and fitment all that is left is for me to get them the header.
