For those guys who're interested, we'll be scanning the excerpt of the magazine so that you guys will be able to see it.

BlueSpeed - the #'s you quoted are for the first run for each. The more runs you make the larger the difference. A FMIC is design to fight heat-soak and provide more consistent knock free power. In just a few runs power differences increased from 8-13whp.

Striker187 - that's the Jan. issue.

silverturbozoom - if you're running our FMIC, the NX N-tercooler wouldn't be worth getting, as the core is so much larger then the stock unit. That money would be better well spent on some sticker rubber.

hey im thinkin about gettin me a FMIC and im wonderin which one is better(iON or Spool)?

I want one caz im thinking about buy a N-ter Cooler Nitrous kit and im thinking it wont fit on the stock one.

i plan on using CO2 though caz its cheaper

it seems that the guys at turbo had a little trouble following the manual for the install, it the guys at turbo had trouble I am a little scared to do it myself.
Is Ion planning on making the manual a little more user friendly?

I did a couple of searches but couldn't find a thread with the actual scanned article. I'll search again though.

jfuller - the instructions are a guideline. There are also pictures with the pieces #'s so that makes it a little easier. There are several members on this board who've installed the kit themselves in ~1 day. Just make sure if you're not comfortable doing it yourself, seek professional help. It's hard to gauge everyone's mechanical expertise.

Next time you go to the newsstand check out the month on the cover of any magazine. Almost ALL magazines print a month ahead some TWO. Right now the Feb. issues are coming out to subscribers of most mags. BTW Feb. issue of Turbo is out on Newsstands already since earlier this week.
