Turbo system.. Starting form scratch..

Hey spoolinmp3 How much do you sell the manifold and downpipe for??? TTY
The manifold is $450 and the downpipe flange is $39.

The tubular style is $650. You can add $50 more for ceramic coating which is highly recommended.
The manifoilds can be made to fit the t3 family of garretts or mitsu 16g turbos
 
Would there be a gain by using the tubular design over the cast at low PSI?? Thanx for the pricing by the way.. TTY
 
i gots a k26 wich is awesome in my opinion....if you would like to hear it in all its amdness go HERE (i also have some pics of my one of a kind setup)

With our stage 1 non-I/C setup we realized 200rpm quicker spoolup between both mani's. For a low boost system I reccomend our non-tubular manifold:)

I was looking into this as well. Looking on Ebay I could see a few brand new T3s with the same specs for $525. I'm not saying this is the guy I'd buy from, because you need to be careful on Ebay, but it seems like piecing the kit together could really save some big bucks.

I basically found a T3 for $525, a wastegate for $200 and a GTS BOV for $175. Then the manifold and flange would be $489. Hoses, fittings, pipes, voltage clip etc. I dunno. I wouldn't be able to do it without my GF's dad who is a mechanic :). In the end I'd probably save about $800 bucks, but who knows.

Terry, you don't sell the pipes for your stage 1 kit do ya? :) I suppose its much more simple non-IC to fabricate them yourself... Hmph. The SPOOL kit just looks sweet though :)

Yeh i know I can save money and it will look good too. i will use stainless pipe that will be polished after welding... I will probably go with a t25 or t28 but not sure yet. I have alot of reading and learning to do before I take the plunge... Thax for the info though.. TTY
 
Well I ahve read most of the book. It does not look to hard and it has allot of info. I don't think I will make the system myself though now. I think I am going to go witha system from essential speed. The price is 3200 canadian . thats 2300 usd. for their stage 1. It comes with teo4h. Its a hybrid 15g that flows about 15-25% more with internal wastegate. It comes with everything. Stainless piping all the fittings and a fabricated mani. Not cast. He tells me it will spool up around 1900 which is alright because since it flows more it won't get hot at high revs. i will do the install myself though. Let me know what you guys think. Then in the spring I will add the intercooler and up the boost to 8-10psi. I will start of when I put it in at 6-7psi... Thanx. TTY
