I had a oil leak before from my turbo. I took it to the dealer and they fix the leak, but would that oil leak damaged my turbo?? I know that the turbo it's working, but I notice that my car isn't pulling as hard as before, I took it to the dealer and they said there is no problem with the turbo.

how much was it leaking? as long as the oil send line was fine you shouldn't have reason to worry.

I not too sure too... I guess not alot, coz I can't see any oil driping down to the ground. it's just everytime when I get off from Freeway, and my car it's idle, I can smell a burnt oil smell come in from the air vent. then it goes away after couple minutes.

how long ago did this happen? possibly you still have oil on your engine that is burning off from the previous leak?

Yes I second the 'burning oil' explanation...think about it...if it was leaking oil there's probably some oil left on the outside of the turbo. If it doesn't go away bring it back.

Most likely it was from the oil return line, which is on the bottom of the turbo manifold. I havent looked at mine yet but if they are using a flex line metal hose, they are prone to leaks.

Either way it probably leaked onto the exhaust downpipe and is just burning itself off. May take a week or two to get rid, most likely not that long though.

Your turbo should be fine, now worries. Youll know it if your turbo is dead or is going dead due to lack of boost (its all in your head).
