Turbo Porting

just wondering if anyone has tried porting the exhaust side of the stock turbo yet? i was planning on doing this when i install my 3" down pipe, but i wasnt sure if it was gonna be worth the hassle? any thoughts or suggestions?(shrug)

porting the hotside is ftw... its a bit time consuming and make sure you carefully take the turbo apart.

there is a company making a hybrid k04 where they only keep the k04's exhaust housing and port the piss out of it and replace everything else with bigger and better parts... hope this helps. i think it is a good idea
