Turbo Manifold Questions

I am new to Mazdas so this may sound like a NOOB question. I see everyone is always looking for a good turbo manifold, why isn't nobody really running an OBX unit? Is it because you guys want to keep the factory turbo or the manifold just sucks? I plan on turbo-ing my P5 and considering piecing it together as i see HiBoost is the only company offering a turbo kit. Any advice would be nice.

because the obx has no provisions for the egr or the 02 sensor. also the obx unit has a t3 flange the stock msp turbo has a t2 flange so it would not be a direct bolt up. most people wont even fun t3's unless they are forged and when then more people run the gt28rs because it bolts right up to the stock manifold, and with the all the new manifolds comming out it would seem a little stupid for me to switch my entire setup right now to a t3 when i have a ported thunder manifold and im building my motor so i can run a gt28rs. the stock motor isnt that strong and can blow very easily search around and you will see what i mean. really there are alot of threads around here that can help you learn alot so just search around and find what you need like i did. and i see your kind of new to the forums so....WELCOME!!! lol have fun with turboing the p5 you will definetley enjoy it more after its done

o and one more thing i forgot the ports on the obx dont even match the ports on the head they are 2 totally different shapes so in my mind.....obx=s***.

yup i have read about our motors not being that strong as people want to stay under 10psi stock. i just want to run 6-8psi 200-215 whp and i will be good for a while, after that i will build some more and hopefully be in the 250-270 range. which manifolds are coming out i saw the one with the youtube vids showing the progress for 550 which to me seems a little on the higher side. theres a sticky with one i guess its discontinued, going new for 365 shipped now that is what i am looking for. and gt28 turbos, how much are they going for?

around 1k for a gt28rs. and really the only opitions we have is custom, thunder, steedspeed, and the stock msp callaway
