turbo lag ??

ok.. i have had my speed6 for allmost a month now.. my first turbo car also..
been getting used to it..
ok when i am going throu the gears WOT when shifting to the next gear and get back on the gas to WOT it seems to lag then you feel the turbo surge.. is this normal?? or am i letting the rev's drop to much ?? or is it another problem ?? thanks..

Happens to mine too. As far as I know, this is normal when you let off the gas during shifting (ie, not power shifting). As soon as you let off, the turbo will begin to spool back down. Like all turbo cars, the turbo needs to spool back up when you hit the gas which can take a little bit of time. That's the lag you're feeling. Rev matching may help eliminate it when shifting but that may take a bit of experience. Try blipping the throttle a bit before you let the clutch out, that may help. It seems to help me a bit. Then again, I don't really drive my car too hard and rarely, if ever do I go WOT. Most I go is 3/4 and it does the job just fine.
