So the time has come for me to purchase a replacement turbo, I see that the GT28rs is supposed to be a direct bolt on? does anyone have any suggestions on this? will I need to make any adjustments other than bolt on the new turbo? Or does anyone have a suggestion on a different turbo I should look into?

Just have to modify the WGA bracket and clock it if necessary, it will bolt right on otherwise. Unless you have big plans (more than 350whp and 28-20psi) and want a GT30 or better, the GT28 will be perfect.

Yeah. GT2860RS will do you well unless you plan on standalone ECU and a bunch of other supporting mods to make 300-400 hp

You might have to bend the coolant and oil lines to fit (I suggest upgrading to stainless) also you will need a 2.5 to 3in coupler reducer for your intake piping to fit. This is what your "modified" wastegate should look like.

Turbo help also, I replaced the stock wastegate acuator, with the aftermarket forge WGA. And now when i boost, it'll hold pressure then just spike back down to like its not boosting at all? No vacumm leaks, turbo is in good condition, no shaft play etc.... HELP PLEASE!!
