The converter will ballon from holding at stall to long under lots of power. Let me know cause if thats the case then the converter and trani will handle some power just can't keep the converter at stall for long?? TTY

jaymode said:auto trannies can be really good if done right. If you saw the Sport Compact Car with the auto wrx that does a 13.3 quarter. It is very fast nd amazing what that tranny can do. It goes into what gear you want when you want. To launch it, you pump the brakes and put it in second and rev up to 5500 rpm and then let off the brakes and shove into first. You can also change the shift points with a laptop. But to do stuff like this it takes a lot of cash.
So a manual is usually more cost effective when you need control.
