Tuning method

What is the process that you use to tune (either CPE or Cobb software)? Like, what do you look for, what do you change, increments, etc? Don't know if anyone will be willing to post, but I figured I'd ask. It's always something I've been interested in, and figure if I am going to keep this car for a while I'd like to learn.

best bet would be to go to cobb's website, they have an atr manual that shows you how to tune with ATR, also you can call cobb direct and they can help you out.

with my standback, I tune by taking multiple datalogs on my dashhawk then i look at them all and find trends of where the car is lean, rich, knocking, etc etc.....then I make changes to my map from there. when i first started i had to make small changes because I didnt know how they would affect the car, now I can tune much faster because I can guess pretty closely how it will be.
