Tube coming from air filter has no end point

Hey guys,

I recently bought a 1995 Mazda Millenia (my first car!) and I've been fixing it up a little bit and when I was doing a tune up yesterday I noticed this stray tube that had been broken and was just floating by the driver's side of the engine. The start point of the tube was by the air filter on the bottom of it and is right next to another tube.

It's coming out of from below the air filter and then the tube just stops where it is in the pictures. It looks like it was ripped in half or something. Sorry I'm really new with cars and I'm not quite sure what you're post means.

lol no problem.

try posting a better picture from where it comes out of. maybe a little further so i can see it better.

It's hard to get a picture of it because it is under so much stuff and where I'm at I don't have access to many tools. It is attached to the bottom of the air filter housing box. Hope these pictures help:
