TRZ or ********** MOUNT...!

And what exactly does your reply have to do with the TRZ to SU comparison?

Did doesn't...it was a response to the OEM mount...(shrug)

Plus, I never stated my replies as fact!! You personally interpreted them that way. Whenever I post something on forums and most others do...its usually an opinion...

You shouldn't really take things so seriously and so personal... Its not healthy... Group hug!!!! (group)

But if you really want to know, I don't like SU's design due to the dis-similar metals and two piece design...in addition to the larger dampener they use and heavier weight... Again, just my opinion... Plus, I can't really review the SU mount since I haven't had any first-hand experience with it...

When it comes to engineering things, typically the simplest solution is the best one, as long as it solves the problem. So, which one is the simplest and most effective?

I have the SU mount which I just installed last weekend and love it. Vibration isn't bad at all unlike my SRT4 mounts. Theres a little at ideal and with AC on but thats it. Once I pass the brake in that may even go away. Shifting is so smooth and the car just feels really solid.

I have the SU too. I like this one cause after the break in period it feels like stock minus the wheel hop and engine thrash. The vibration was very noticeable at first, but i can barely notice it now. If i hold the wheel and stick my pointer finger out it doesnt shake as much compare to when i first got it.

I originally had the SU mount but the bushing tore. Now I have the AWR 88. Hopefully I won't have to try the TRZ!

wow... when we tested the SU mount we noticed, that it was much stronger than BOTH versions of the AWR...i pesonally tore both AWR mounts.
if you broke an SU mount you NEED A TRZ !!!

Albone asked you "So you've had all the different mounts out there? What makes the trz better?" which is what you responded to. It had nothing to do with the stock mount so it seems you can't remember what you say from one page to another.

That's not good. But thanks for the for-warning. I will back my SU mount get the new bushing in... and if/when I bash the AWR-88 i have the SU. Does the AWR have a lifetime warranty? What about the TRZ warranty?

there is no need to bash anyone. until these past few posts i had not heard of people tearing an SU mount. both the AWR and TRZ have lifetime warranties, always have.

So this means the SU is just right then? stronger than awr, but gives less vibration than trz.

the SU mount has the lowest stiffness rating of the available motor mounts. you will get less cabin vibration but the tradeoff is less reduction of wheel hop and lash. you cannot have one without the other. there is no such thing as a mount that eliminates all wheel hop, all lash, all torque steer while providing a vibration free cabin experience. the trick is finding a mount that FEELS right to the end customer.

wow, u guys getting so mad over this s***..if i were a mod i woulda closed this....i am waiting on the trz delrin and im glad i went with the trz

mods only close what they see 90% of the time. on a forum this big things get overlooked.

REad the FN post. I didn't bash the mount/manufacturer or anything i just said i have a back up if it breaks. Others said that they have broken other mounts... READ before you post!!!
