Trying to sell an MP3

Hey one of my friends has an MP3 and he was thinking about selling it. Should he go to a dealer or do a private sale. it is in very nice condition and has about 85K on it. Any price suggestions.

Private sale usually nets more money. Just takes more time. Unless the dealer is hurting bad enough to give high blue book or retail msrp as trade in. Try the dealer first and see what they offer and if you are not satisfied try another dealer or post up a craigslist ad. Most people from craigslist are lowballers...

Put it up on craigslist, with really nice high quality and well taken pictures. while its on cl, surf the dealers, see what they offer.

Take some nice ass pictures and put it on Craigslist... Ebay.. This forum.. everywhere. Private sale will get your more $$

Check KBB... I doubt you can get more than $5k for it, even private. Probably somewhere around $4k unless it is MINT.
