Trunk Dimensions?

I can't seem to find the trunk dimensions anywhere. Specifically, I'm trying to figure out if my dog's crate can fit in the back fully assembled. Unfortunately the 'volume' that is frequently listed for storage capacity doesn't tell me whether or not it will fit. I don't suppose anyone with a tape measure could measure the dimensions of the trunk area for me please? My only other recourse is to go back out to the dealership with a tape measure!

(Or if anyone can find them online.. god knows I've tried).

Sure, why not? I know what it's like researching buying a new car, so I'll be helpful

front-to-back (depth): 40"
side-to-side (width): 41" (at the narrowist point)
height: 29 1/2" (at highest point)

with the seats folded down, you'll gain another 22" of depth.

They're approximate. Obviously, you'll have to take into account the hatch door closing... I wasn't sure how to measure that for you, but at least this will give ya an idea.
