Tribute - Lights on, nobody home

I have a 2001 Tribute V6-ES Automatic.

I went to the store last night, came out and it won't start. I turn the key and all lights on the dash come on but no sound of ignition. Radio works fine headlights fine, door locks fine, etc.

Any ideas or should I tow to the dealer?

I cant remember if its a Chipped key or not. Somone might of gotten into your truck and tried starting it, there is a big delay like an hr before you can start it, its an anti-theft system. shuts your ignition down so noone can hotwire or break the ignition to steal the vehicle. Did it to my truck, tried to program keys myself and had to wait an hr...note it was a ford product (ranger).

Does the truck start now? or what?
