Transparent background on GIF files

Can anyone help me get the background (and holes through the windows) in my signature picture to be transparent? I used Paint Shop Pro to create the file, but the option to choose a transparent color was greyed out on the menu and I couldn't figure out what the problem was.

Any help would be appreciated. If I don't respond soon, it's 'cause I'm going out of town on business for a couple of days.

photoshop delete the background layer
cut the hole
save as for web
transparency

Or if you can't delete the background layer, just click on the "eye" icon (in the layers palette) to make it invisible.
