Anyone have or blown there trans yet in the 03 protege i did. Now its on backorder wanted to see if anyone else had a problem with theres. I only got 11,000 miles on it.

no clue was driving the car started hearing a noise neext thing i new at dealership hearing the trans went apparently something in the differential.

so is it the tip tronic do-dad tranny with the manual shift mode????...sorry not trying to discredit yer age and driving ability.....was the car used or did u drive all 11k????? and do u drive the car hard (rev very high)????? and have u done anything to the car aftermarket??? (not that much could blow yer tranny)

Automatic...It happens sometimes....

They will replace it and you probably wont have a problem again. This is the first one I have heard of...

11,000 miles on the car i put on. Only mod is system, intake, and exhaust, rims and suspension. SO nothing i did there.

wow thats sounds really weird... i dont know autos that well but sounds like it should be covered..am i right???

yea it is covered problem is trans is on back order and they gave me a rental dont know how long they goin to cover it for.

i just took my 5 in for engine noise and they are replacing my engine only after a little over 8000 miles

damn bobby i got 11,000 miles and only my trans its starting to worry me

i not that worried they are in the process of changing it out and i dont have to spend a dime.
