I am wondering how to add oil to my 2002 Mazda Protege 5 tranny. Is there a way to remove the vent? Or do I have to take the speedometer linkage off?

I've got 120 kms on my Protoge 5 and i'd like to replace the tranny oil...looks like 75w90 is the call on the forum....where is the drain/fill plug(s) on this puppy? Any other tricks to be warry about?

Tony

The drain and fill plugs are large 23mm bolts on the bottom and front of the tranny. 75w90 is fine. Make sure the car is on level ground when filling. Fill untill fluid comes out the fill hole. The transmission will take just under 3L of fluid.
