Trannys of course

I have an mp3 and am gonna have the tranny checked out this week. Bought it new and the tranny went out at 19000 miles... they replaced it of course. Now at 127000 miles .... can't get 1,3 or 5 gears.... keeps popping back out when trying to put it in gear. Hopefully it is just the synchronizers and not the whole thing.... got my fingers crossed. What I am asking everyone is are they still have trouble with their trannys? I notice that someone in some posts said the trannys going bad was due to driver error, is that really the case? I would like to know what most of you think please. I have never had to replace a clutch and usually you will burn up several clutches before you tearup a transmission!!!

Would love some input.

Thanks

either the synchros are bad or the shift forks are worn out... the shift forks wear out usually due to the shifter being used as a hand rest

Possibility that it has been used as a hand rest a few times.... will plead guilty to that.
Thanks for the info, much appreciated!

I had no idea this would happen, guess I need to quit.

This is related, sorta... How labor intensive would replacing the shift forks in our trannys be?
