Tranny/ Safety issues

simply wondering how many msp owners have had transmission and/or safety issues in thier vehicles???

my car's rpm drops really low after going from 3/4/5th to neutral and sometime the car stalls and i lose everythign... power steering, brakes....

noclue: sounds like you have a venting BOV rather than a BPV. Check for vacume leaks around your BPV if you're still running the stock one.

makako; most problems seem to be centered around the LSD. It's spot welded on and several forum members have had there's break. General opinion is the LSD takes most of the abuse from wheel hop and the three spot welds simply aren't strong enough to withstand it.

is that to say that some good motor mounts/springs to reduce wheel hop could potentially prolong the life of my LSD

already did.. 3 times now twice at dealer and once on my own.. I do have a stock BPV
