Hi everyone,

my tranny just broke down this morning on my way to work (bang)

I got towed and then I removed the tranny and dismantled it.

4 little parts (identical) were found that didn't seem to be at the right place. There is also a spring and something that looks like a ball bearing. I really can't figure out where they go.

Here's how they look:

I looked at the lsd, nothing seems to be wrong, but everything leads me to the conclusion that it is the problem.

Thanks for your time!

What where you doing before it sent on you?

And deleted your other post, Please dont cross post!

At first there was a strange sound that looked like grinding gears. I could barely transfer any power to the wheels, in any gear. 1 mile after, the car wouldn't want to move at all. I tought it was the lsd, but nothing looks broken.

Thanks

The clutch feels normal. I don't think that it is a piece of the shift fork, I'll give a better look at it though.

That spring and ball bearing are from a spot on the side of the tranny and usually covered with a 14mm bolt to hold it in. You must have removed it when opening up the tranny. Can't tell what the other bits are without better pics.

You're right, thanks a lot!

yo looks like that might be part of your diff cuz my car did the exact same thing where you get no power in any gear and it just revs even when in gear dont replace the clutch i did that and it didnt fix the problem id say order a new diff

glad you made some headway, lol it just struck me, im willing to bet that every msp owner can take apart the transmission and reassemble it blindfolded.
