A frontier? Maybe they fixed it in the new models, but in the old body style, you could literally see the frame flex pretty significantly in normal driving. I would never drive one of those.

I know a girl who has a 2000 Frontier 4x4 and it has been virtually trouble free for over 100k. Now, a long time friend of mine is a Nissan mechanic and he says, with the new models, to expect to replace trans and/or tranfer case by 40k and most likely have the top end of the engine rebuilt by 100k. They don't build 'em like they use too.. (poke)

Don't understand why everyone never thought it would happen...I'm pretty sure I saw AGR post that he'd eventually get rid of the car in the past?

Anyway, before the MP3, I had a '96 Frontier. It was small and basic as hell, but it treated me well. The only problem I ever had with it was the starter.

Well yeah! Nobody keeps a car forever. 2yrs. 10months. That might be a record for me. :D

This truck has sweet power. (stash) Actually; it has 20 more horsepower than it's nearest competitor - the Toyota Tacoma.

Congrats on the new ride. I'd be lying if I said your random threads didn't help justify my MSP purchase!

And.....

.... this just in! Ordering an aFe Cold Air Intake for my Frontier. (friday)
