So after a near flawless three years with my beloved Speed 6, I finally decided to trade her in at 60k, for a 2008 Infiniti g37 with 36k on the tach. I definitely miss my speed 6, but the time has finally come for a change of pace. With that, I was looking at the new WRX's and Genesis coupe 3.8, but the dealerships wouldnt give me a deal. However, I was actually about to say to hell with trading the car in (sometimes I wish I kinda did), but Infiniti finally budged and gave me a pretty good deal as well as giving me all the money I owed for my car too. My speed was an amazing car, but being that it was out of warranty and the value kept decreasing, I knew that it was immenent to trade her in. I've had my g37 for almost 3 months and its a pretty awesome car, but they are all over the place, as opposed to the speed 6 being a rare breed.

Oh yeah, eventhough its been 3 months since I got my infiniti, I can still hear my turbo spooling and the turbosmart BOV going off :)

G37 is a nice car yea I see them more often than a speed 6 but hey.. At least you can say you owned one :)..

Honestly My next car will probably be a Hyundai Genesis coupe 3.8 or a 370Z... Just seen so many 370zs with basic boltons do low to mid 12s. Too easy

Yeah my speed 6 is definitely missed, but again the time had come to make a change. I test drove a 370z, but the dealship wouldnt do crap for me. Plus, the car isnt practical at all. Eventhough it is amazing, I wanted a backseat and a trunk. My g37 doesnt have the room that my Mazda had, but its definitely a cool car. I could have kept my speed 6 a bit longer, but 3 years is a pretty good amount of time :)

Congrats on the upgrade! One question though, you do realize there's a difference between the factory warranty and power train warranty right! you could of just bought an extended warranty through BBB or your dealership. Would of been alot easier than trading the MS6 in for another car. 60-36K is only 24K mile difference. So when you hit 60K on the G37, do you plan on trading it in again?? Hahaha..LOL

No i plan on keeping the g37 much longer, regardless of a warranty of not. I was completely unaware of having the ability of purchasing a warranty at the Mazda dealership? I did a bunch of upgrades on the car anyway, and I got some crap for it last time I was at Mazda.

You can purchase an extended warranty, but it's far from cheap. Good stuff on the G37, it's a great car with excellent reviews everywhere. I found it small when I sat in it, but I'm sure it's tons of fun behind the wheel.
