trade in my 3???

Okay boys n girls...

im currently the owner of a 2006 mazda3 GT(5spd) dropped on eibach pro-kit - w/ mazdaspeed intake/exhaust & mazdaspeed sways...

Eitehr way.. winter is coming..

Im thinking of trading in my car for a pre-loved speed6...

or maybe even a speed 3... but hell the speed 6 is awd... & well.. i need reliable transportation for the winter.. although my 3 did get me around rather well last winter...

so what do u guys/girls think??

fixed. lol, but really I don't see why you would trade it in just because it's going to be winter time? I personally like the MS3 over MS6 but I am a hatchback lover.

If you aren't going to be racing/launching/beating the MS6 that. If you want a real tuner, get an STI. The MS3 is a nice upgrade from the MZ3 though. But if you do decided to trade, put the MZ3 back to stock and sell those parts to make some money back.

AWD won't do a thing for you in the winter/snow unless you also buy a set of 4 snow tires. And even with snow tires, AWD only helps you accelerate but does not help you brake or corner faster/better than a 2WD car.

One of the greatest marketing gimmics the car companies have done is convincing some people that AWD is 'safer' in the snow/winter. Unless you've also invested in a set of winter tires (not all seasons) a 2WD car with snow tires will run laps around an AWD car w/o snow tires.

So you spend more upfront for AWD and still also need to buy snow tires and, for the life of the AWD car, your fuel economy suffers.

Why are you thinking of trading in your car? Bored of it? Buy a set of snow tires for your 3 and keep some money in the bank rather then getting hosed on depreciation costs by buying newer cars every 3 years.
