TPMS + switching wheels?

The stock "racing" tire size is expensive and wears quickly. Swapped out for 16" wheels and tires from TireRack (at very reasonable prices).

What size tires are you running now? The only 16" tires I saw that TireRack said would fit were winter tires. I'd like to straighten out the negative camber and put 16" wheels on my Mazda5 as soon as these stock tires wear out.

Now if someone can help me figure out how to remove the valve stems (with TPMS) from the old rims, I'll sell the rims off on Ebay. I figure that I can put the TPMS-equipped valve stems on to my "new" rims next time I replace the tires. Fortunately that is going to be a good long while.

Don't they just screw off? I'm not sure, I haven't played with them, but from the diagram I saw while getting a tire changed it looks like it just screws on. (I had a flat with about 400 miles on the tire - sidewall puncture after rubbing against a curb.
