toyota supra question

(uhm) did toyota ever make a supra with a rotary engine? I have a dissagreement with a buddy of mine that they didnt. he says that an 89 supra had a optional rotary engine. i think he is full of crap cuz i only ever heard of mazdas using a rotary. i tried looking on the web about 89 supra but all i see is those cars with a inline 6 engine and some with turbo inline 6. maybe another toyota had a rotary? different year?

Never heard of it, I don't believe Toyota even has a rotary.

Nope. Definitely not. People may have custom dropped a rotary in but not from factory.

thanx to all for clearing this up. i had a feeling he was blowing smoke up my ass. hes a type of a a$$hole that thinks whatever he says is right and hes never wrong. lol im gonna have him prove it to me. LOL. gonna put him in a uncomfortable position. hahaha
