Any comments on the following tires for my summer wheels. I've read the reviews on www.1010tires.com.

Proxes4 all the way. The TPT is a much less sporting tire.

I also have proxes 4's and i love them they are an overall great tire

The previous owner installed the TPT's on my P5. I have to say that I like them, but I also have no experience with the Proxes4. The TPT's handle great in dry and wet. I have spun occasionally on wet roads when starting from a stop at a redlight (but this could be my fault). (thumb) Otherwise decent grip in rain and what snow we have had here in the NE. Don't know how well they would handle a significant snow amount, guess I will get to find out next year.

If you go with the 4's please write up a review. If I had to buy tires right now my choices would be the 4's or another set of TPT's.

Uh, why not get summer tires. Both of those are all-season tires.

I've got the Toyo's Proxes 4 and I hate them. Honestly, I think they make the car corner like s*** compared to Falken Ziex's.

My next tires are the Falkens again.

I had the proxy 4's also and was not that impressed. They were good in the rain but wore pretty fast.

i.ve got the TPT's and i think that they are pretty good tires, but i have no expirence with the proxes, so i won't say ya or na about them (boom07)

go with Proxes 4's but not in snow

Be aware the 4's have soft sidewalls. I had to run mine at about 38psi. Then they corner great. I loved mine. Great dry and wet. But they have poor launch traction in anything but groomed snowy roads. Got about 40K miles from them (auto tranny) with aggressive driving and a couple autox weekends.

I now have Falken Ziex 512's which I also like very much. Cheaper, and they have about 90% of the performance of the Proxes 4, plus much better in snow.
