toyo Proxes T1R 225/45 r18

Good dry grip, excellent wet grip. Kindy soft sidewalls compared to tires like Falken Azenis. Good treadwear. Haven't tried them on stock but tires are tires. They should fit stock setup

Terrible tires. Had em' on my Toyota Camry SE. Too soft, and wear real fast. Just my 2 cents worth.

Like i,m going to care from someone that had toyo t1-r on a camry, sorry body but that was not what i wanted to read when i ask feed back, anyway these tires are excellent but not long lasting, i know, but for one summer, and for 1 or 2 days at the track i know now that they feel the same way from start to finish. I can not say the same for the kumho, from lap to lap the feeling keep changing, but the toyo's feel always the same, but thanks anyway for your comment

I hated the T1-R's so much (after coming from the T1-S's) that I actually took them off after 5k miles, and sold them. I replaced them with Hankook Z212's, which I absolutely loved (they were much cheaper too!).

You will sacrifice wet grip going with the hankooks though..but the T1-R's felt like soft squishy all-seasons...they were horrifically bad at the track. Greased up after 1 lap. Overall I consider them a worse tire then the T1-S...which I wish Toyo would start making again.

I currently run RT615's, which are a fantastic dry tire, with solid sidewalls...but not so good in the wet. I'm most likely swapping back to Z212's when the RT615's wear down.

Dood,
You asked for feedback. I dont give a s*** what you "wanted" to hear. I wouldnt put them on my Speed3 either. I simply gave you feedback. The tire simply didnt last, was too soft, and wore real quick. you asked...people answered. Both my 2009 Camry SE V6 and my new Speed3 are my toys, so dont judge me on what I own.... Crackness in your world.

Nooo. Im a retired Master Sergeant from the Military. I cant be offended. i was just giving my advice as these tires hold real good but wear way to fast. Not worth the money. I had them on my my 2009 Camry SE V6 and I wont put them on my new Mazdaspeed3. Then you mentioned what you said above. I was simply responding. No, people should never get offended on a forum. I only felt you were judging me. Offended? No. No problem brother!

Remeber that the Camry is a portly car and vehicle weight was a huge factor on the wear of those tires. Treadwear is 280 and will get about 17-22k miles out of them if rotated properly. Miata guys see this kind of mileage on these tires.

So far the feeling is incradable, i love the t1-r , from nothing it grips and everygear is so in control, love the punch, so far so good, but that is my point of view, and i had the chance to pay 1000 $can, not dissapointed at all, and no rubbing for me.
